Hearts Come Home & Mini Pizza Boxes

So excited! How stinkin' cute is this?  Today, my new friend, Lesley Lendon, from the UK graced me with this adorable Mini Pizza Box set! Thank you Lesley! Love this little gift. It features the Mini Pizza boxes - she cut out a window and stamped the sleigh and reindeer with stazon. The image in the back was sponged. It really looks 3D!

Stampin' Blends - Available Nov. 1st

A few years ago, Stampin' Up! introduced alcohol based markers. Due to manufacturer issues, they pulled them off the market until such time that they were confident that the markers lived up to Stampin' Up! high quality standards. Recently, Stampin' Up! relaunched the markers to the demonstrator community. As of Nov. 1st they will be available to the market at large. Check out this video!

Eclipse Technique Using Tranquil Tulips

Well my fall technique clubs are under way. This weekend marked the 1st month of the 6 month club. We had a fabulous time crafting. I taught 2 new techniques. The Eclipse technique shown here was one of them. The design is based on a card that I had seen done by Sandi MacIver.  Because the "Happy" is so big, the card is actually an 8 1/2" x 11" folded in half!  A large card with lots of space inside to write a wonderful message to the special person that will be getting this card!
I used Berry Bliss, Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist as the main colors - all 2017 - 2019 In Colors.

Hometown Greetings

Inspired by Stampin Up North
I can't stop playing with these framelits.  My secret tip to adhering them is to use the adhesive sheets. OMG it make like so easy and no messy glue going in places you don't what it to go.  I layered the framelit cut out onto the beautiful Year of Cheer Specialty DSP.

Hometown Greeting Edgelits Meets The Bridge Card

Inspired by Amanda Bates
So you have probably seen all over Pinterest the "Bridge" card. Well here is my take on the technique.  It is not difficult, just a wee bit time consuming which is why I will leave this card to teach in my monthly technique club. My version has 3 levels to give it added depth. Featured in this card are the Hometown Greeting Edgelits, Hearts Come Home SS and Snowflake Sentiment SS.

Glittery Swirly Snowflake

Here is another design I created for this months Christmas Card Club.  The greeting is from the new Snowflake Sentiments and the border was done using Swirly Snowflakes thinlit dies. The card was finished with some rhinestones and the silver edge satin ribbon - gorgeous!

Winter Wonder Embossing Folder

This weekend marked the start of my 2017 Christmas Card Club.
I love making Christmas cards. One of the designs (see 2nd post down) uses the Winter Wonder TIEF. The folder needed to be centered on the cardstock. Well little mistakes happen the cardstock didn't get centered. So we sat it aside and started on a new piece. Not wanting it to go to waste, I decided to create a new design using this piece.   I love that I could use it and create a beautiful Christmas card. The greeting was embossed in silver and the center is silver glimmer paper.

Winter Wonder Textured Impression Embossing Folder

Simple yet elegant. The new textured impression embossing folder ~ Winter Wonder~ is simply gorgeous & paired with some silver glimmer paper and the Seasonal Layer (snowflake) framelits add beauty and elegance to this card. Don't forget the silver trimmed satin ribbon.
This will be one of the cards my Christmas Card Club ladies will make in Sept. Want to join? I have 2 openings for the Saturday classes. Get the details here.

Merry Musical Specialty Designer Paper Christmas Card

In the 2017 holiday catalog Stampin' Up! has included this great musical specialty DSP. 24 sheets (12 x 12) in all - half are white with black and the other half is black with white.  Not the most traditional Christmas colors but none-the-less gorgeous.

On my card I have used the new Winter Wonder embossing folder  - a beautiful large snowflake as well as the Seasonal Layers thinlits to create the small sparkly snowflakes.  A definite "must do" for my Christmas card club that starts in 3 weeks.

Hometown Greetings Edgelits Christmas Card

Ah edgelits!  I love them!  Hometown Greetings are coming in the new 2017 Holiday Catalog Sept 1st.
The greeting is from Snowflake Sentiments - such a beautiful font. I couldn't decide which I like better - the one with the Holly embossing folder or the one without.  What do you think?

I Can't Get Enough Of The Christmas Lamppost Framelits

Just loving this set of thinlits from Stampin' Up! called Christmas Lamppost.
In this card I have also used Year of Cheer Specialty DSP - lovely classic foil designs that just make cards pop.
Another must have for your stamping collection - just think of all the possibilities there are with this set of framelits.
The holiday catalog is now available for pick up. Contact me to receive your copy by leaving a comment.

Hometown Greetings - Holiday Catalog 2017

Yippee!! My 2017 Holiday Catalog pre-order finally arrived!  I am thrilled that Stampin' Up! has come out with some new edgelits. These are called Hometown Greetings edgelits and there are 3 other "horizons" along with 2 other shapes.  Also new, is the greeting which is from Snowflake Sentiments.
No card is complete without a little bling. There are new black rhinestones in the 2017 Holiday catalog as well. And finally, phew this is a lot for one card, a new punch called Everyday Label.  Boy did I jam a lot into that card!  Of course I will be showing off these new products at my 2017 Christmas Card club - registration has begun so don't miss out.

Christmas Card Club Starts Sept 8th

Floral Statements - Hello

Finally had a few minutes to play with this set again.  I love how beautiful it is and how easy it is to color!

Floral Statements

This is my new favorite stamp set - Floral Statements. As soon as I saw it in the 2018 Stampin' Up! catalog I knew I had to have it.  In all 3 samples I embossed the floral arrangement. The purple one on the right I masked the flowers to stamp the background image.  All 3 were colored with Stampin' Up! Blendabilities (retired but hopefully back soon).

Technique Club Project

It has be a long time since I posted. Work has been extremely busy and exhausting and I have just not had time to stamp.
I had to get organized for a club that I am holding this Friday and here is one of the 2 projects that my ladies will make.
It uses the Fox Builder punch and coordinating stamp set Foxy Friends

Pop & Twist with Beautiful You

I have seen so many videos on how to make the Pop & Twist card and finally decided to try it out for myself. Interactive cards are always fun to open up - a little surprise inside. Now that I have been able to make this I am going to teach my Stamper's Tech Club this month how to make it. I think they will love it!
